Robert Sanders is the Utah State Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands’ Fire Warden for Salt Lake and Davis Counties. His past experience, particularly in Southern California, makes him an authority on wildfire behavior, forecasting, prevention and mitigation. Robert will inform us on what the State wildfire forecasters expect to see this summer, how wildfires might behave in our canyon and how we can mitigate and possibly prevent a wildfire event.
