Mr. Baird will present basic facts about the mysteries of radiation that exist in many people's minds.  He'll discuss common misconceptions about the risks of radioactive materials.  He'll also identify methods of protecting one's self and others from the real hazards of radiation and exposure to radioactive materials.  The presentation is generously provided with amusing illustrations that bring a bit of levity to a potentially dry hour.
