We will head up the Brighton ski slope towards Lake Mary looking for late summer flowers, checking out bog areas for interesting flowers like saxifrage, bog orchids, monkey flower and monkshood. We will admire and identify the trees and surrounding mountains and talk about the history of the canyon, all while looking and listening for birds and moose on the way.  We will walk at a relaxing pace tailored to the group’s abilities and desires.
